Mindful Slow Flow Yoga

Join us for a gentle blend of slow flow yoga suitable for ALL levels.

We will move slowly & thoughtfully through a series of floor based poses, supported sequences that may include standing or seated stretches, breathwork & relaxation techniques to balance both mind & body.

This is an inclusive & supported practice where all are welcome, just as you are.

About this class …

  • Beginners are welcome. I’ll support you with modifications, suggest alternatives and we use props to make the poses and sequences accessible

  • I have some yoga blocks and straps, but you’ll need to bring your own yoga mat. You are encourage to purchase your own props, if possible, and to bring along any blankets, cushions to make our relaxation even more cosy.

  • I’ll guide you through some simple floor based and standing sequences that focus on alignment that feels comfortable for your body. We’ll also move through some simple drills to improve core strength and joint mobility.

  • Every class will finish with a restorative and calming relaxation where all you need to do is get comfortable, lay back and rest.

    Whatever your experience level, as this is a small group class, I am able to support you in your practice.

    We use props to make poses more accessible and I have experience in guiding you through an adapted practice if you are carrying or recovering from injury.

  • No worries. When you sign up for a term of classes, you’ll also gain access to the online community of The Hive.

    You’ll be able to join the live streamed classes which currently offers 3 live classes per week. Or you can access the recordings for on demand yoga at a time that suits you.

    There area variety of class styles on offer and this is a great opportunity to try out different yoga styles.

  • When you book the 7 week block of Mindful Flow Classes, you also receive access to the online community that is the Hive .

    You’ll also be able to join as many of the online classes as you like and access the vast library of recorded yoga classes which means you can eperience on demand yoga in the comfort of your own home or on the move if you are travelling.

    You’ll also have access to our private Facebook group, where there are all kinds of nourishing treats , from delicious seasonal recipes & lifestyle tips & guidance, seasonal and moon cycle journaling, a monthly Book & Film Club and sharing circle.

  • All classes are sequenced around the Five Elements of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the weekly schedule includes Yin Yoga, Slow Flow Hatha Yoga with elements of QiGong, Vinyasa Flow, Meditations and Yoga NIdra. The classes are thoughtfully sequenced around the seasons and are a balanced blend of stillness & movement.

  • Of course you can - I know that life is busy, it is lovely to see you and you are always welcome.

    The drop in classes can be booked as you are able to make a class, however, booking for the term is much better value and gives you access to as much on-demand or live streamed yoga as you like.

    Plus you can experience a little snapshot of the Hive experience during the term.
